Pumpkin and Potato Bake


Pumpkin and Potato Bake for the mini. Because tiny tums also need some fancy yums, no? :)
Note to self : Make an adult's version soon! You cannot keep stealing mini's food! 😛


Ingredients
Pumpkin puree - 3 tbsp
Baby potatoes - 3, boiled abd thinly sliced
Garlic - 1 pod, minced
Butter (unsalted) - 1 tsp
Wheat Flour - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1/2 cup
Italian seasoning - a dash
Cheese cube - 1/2

Method
🎃Heat butter in a pan and roast the flour for a min not allowing it to brown.
🎃Add the minced garlic and saute for a min until rawness goes away.
🎃Add milk and whisk continuously to make a lump free creamy sauce.
🎃Add pumpkin puree and seasoning and mix well.
🎃Layer a baking dish with most of the sliced boiled potatoes.
🎃Pour the pumpkin cream sauce over it and layer the remaining potatoes.
🎃Garnish with grated cheese.
🎃Bake at 180 for 20 mins.
🎃Cool and serve the yum to the tiny tum! :)
