Mutter Paneer

Paneer- 100 gms (cut into one inch pieces)
Green Peas - 1 cup
Onion - 1 big (chopped)
Tomato - 1 big (chopped)
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 1/2 tsp
Kasuri Methi Leaves - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste

  • Deep fry the Paneer pieces in a pan of hot oil and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in another pan, add the chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and fry till onions turn golden brown. Take it off the stove and let it cool.
  • Once cooled, blend it in a mixer along with the tomatoes into a fine paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once it splatters, add the ground paste, salt, chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and mix well.
  • Add green peas, keep the flame on low and cover the vessel. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
  • Now, add in the dry kasuri methi leaves and the fried paneer pieces. Mix well.
  • Add one dollop of butter on top and serve hot with rotis.
